A beer crafted as part of the “Brasse ta bière dans une brasserie” contest, initiated by Baron Mag in collaboration with L’Association des brasseurs amateurs québécois (LABAQ), has been brewed by the Microbrasserie À la Fût.
Le Dernier des Mojitos
Berliner Weisse with Lime and Mint – 3.75% alc.vol.
Inspired by the mojito, this Berliner Weisse boasts a beautiful hazy straw-yellow hue. It greets us with inviting aromas of peppermint, followed by a delightful fruity and tangy lime presence.
On the palate, it begins with a refreshing and pleasant acidity, leading into lime flavors complemented by a refreshing mintiness that truly quenches the thirst. With a substantial proportion of wheat and residual sugar, it offers a rounded texture that balances the entire composition.
In short, it’s like enjoying a delicious mojito with the characteristic texture of a beer. A perfect accompaniment for the terrace.
“Brasse ta bière dans une brasserie! Contest”
This beer was created by the team of “Tétro Sublime” (Philippe Gamelin and Stéphane Tonnerre) as part of the “Brasse ta bière dans une brasserie!” contest, initiated by Baron Mag in collaboration with the Quebec Amateur Brewers Association (LABAQ).
This contest, open to amateur brewers, offered the opportunity to have their recipe brewed in a Quebec microbrewery, with guaranteed publication in the next edition of Baron Mag’s “Recettes de bières et industrie brassicole / Guide des microbrasseries du Québec” publication. In addition to this recognition, the winners had the opportunity to participate in an interview for the podcast “Les Affaires Brassicoles.” This event supports the passion of amateur brewing in Quebec, championed by LABAQ, a non-profit organization dedicated to this brewing community.
