It was on returning from Rigaud that our Rouge de Mékinac was quietly nibbled by two brews from the Le Castor Microbrewery: one season and the Bière de Garde, both matured in oak barrels. This blend, with a nose of cherries and cereals, leaves a slightly resinous sweetness with a pleasant fruitiness in the mouth. Release November 20, 2020
